Terms of Service

1. The Short Version

Crewsmith lets you build teams of AI agents and run tasks using your own API keys. You're responsible for your keys, your usage, and what you build. We provide the platform; you provide the intelligence (and the API bill).

2. Accounts

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
  • You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and API keys.
  • One person per account. Shared accounts are not permitted.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Crewsmith.

3. API Keys & Usage

Crewsmith uses a BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) model. You connect your own API keys from providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google. All API costs are billed directly by those providers to you. Crewsmith does not mark up API costs.

You are solely responsible for any charges incurred through your API keys while using Crewsmith, including charges from misconfigured tasks, loops, or excessive usage.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Crewsmith to generate illegal, harmful, or abusive content
  • Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or exploit the platform
  • Resell access to Crewsmith without written permission
  • Use the service to violate the terms of any connected AI provider

5. Intellectual Property

You own the output generated by your AI crews. Crewsmith does not claim any rights to your task results, configurations, or data. The Crewsmith platform, brand, and code remain the property of SkyForge.

6. Service Availability

Crewsmith is provided "as is." We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We're a small team building fast — things may break. We'll fix them quickly and communicate openly about downtime.

7. Limitation of Liability

Crewsmith is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. This includes (but is not limited to) API charges, data loss, or business interruption. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Beta Disclaimer

Crewsmith is currently in beta. Features may change, break, or be removed. Pricing tiers shown on the site represent planned pricing — during beta, all features are available for free. We'll give at least 30 days notice before charging for anything.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Cook County, Illinois.
